This position is based in Aksia’s Athens office and will include regular interaction with global colleagues and clients.Working hours 11:00am – 7:00pm Greek local time.Responsibilities<ul><li>Book vendor invoices into the Accounts Payable system with accuracy and proper coding</li><li>Monitor and manage the AP approval process, following up on pending approvals</li><li>Support AP payment cycles, including preparing and reviewing due invoices</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner</li><li>Review, verify, and process employee travel and expense reports in line with company policy</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all AP transactions</li><li>Assist with month-end closing activities related to AP</li><li>Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and expenses</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with a strong academic record</li><li>2-4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role</li><li>Familiarity with AP systems / ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English</li><li>Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced investment environment</li></ul>

Will be reporting to the Accounts Receivables Supervisor.Duties and Responsibilities to include:This position’s main focus is supporting all Accounts Receivables tasks and other daily administration tasks as required, such as:<ul><li>Collecting, creating and sending invoices to customers, based on hotel procedures</li><li>Reconciliations: Identify and resolve discrepancies in charges or payments through research and communication with other departments</li><li>Customer service: Resolving customer queries regarding their billing and account statements and invoices</li></ul>The role is designed to support the various functions of the Accounts Receivables department and is an entry level role.The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes<ul><li>University Degree in a Accounting (a Master’s degree will be considered an asset)</li><li>A good working knowledge of Opera</li><li>Excellent command of Microsoft Tools – Word, and Excel (for reconciliation tasks)</li><li>At least 1-2 years of working experience in billing, collection, and/ or monitoring customer balance processes</li><li>Excellent command of the Greek, and English language (certified at Proficiency level), additional languages are an asset</li><li>Strong analytical, problem solving, time-management and project management skills</li><li>Organizing skills and coordination ability with good attention to detail</li><li>Interpersonal communication skills, and commitment to fostering a positive working environment, and relationship with other hotel teams</li><li>Integrity, as this is a role that handles both Guest and Associate personal data</li></ul>
