Responsibilities:

• Installs, configures and troubleshoots laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, storage systems and network devices (hardware, operating systems and software applications).
• Monitors IT systems’ performance and ensures system availability and reliability.
• Performs system and network updates/upgrades.
• Maintains IT security and backup solutions.
• Is responsible to ensure Master’s and Chief Engineer’s familiarization on company’s IT systems.
• Travels on board for maintenance or troubleshooting reasons, whenever required.
• Handles invoices’ checking, reconciliation, processing and filing for all vendors and technical / solution suppliers (office communications, vessels’ satellite and mobile communications, ICT equipment, procurement).

Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or any similar field.
• Post-graduate studies in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in shipping and knowledge of ships automation systems will be considered an asset.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills.
