software engineer

Responsibilities:

• Complies with project plans and industry standards and ensures software is updated with latest features.

• Participates in requirements analysis.

• Collaborates with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.

• Writes clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.

• Tests and deploys applications and systems.

• Revises, updates, refactors and debugs code.

• Improves existing software.

• Develops documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Serves as an expert on applications and provides technical support.

Qualifications / Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any relevant field.

• Up to 4 years of proven working experience as a .NET Developer.

• Strong knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET).

• Experience with the ASP.NET MVC, Windows Forms, .Net Core.

• Experience with at least one of the ORMs such as Entity Framework, DAPPER.

• Good knowledge of SQL Server (T-SQL), stored procedures.

• Familiar with design patterns such as MVC, Mediator, DDD.

• Familiar with architectures such as micro-services, SOA.

• Familiar with RESTful APIs and or GraphQL should be an asset.

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JQuery and or React.Js will be considered as a strong asset.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Fluency in English.
