quality assurance engineer

We’re looking to onboard a QA Engineer who can plug into our delivery pipeline and elevate product quality from day one. You’ll execute test cases, validate features, and partner cross-functionally with developers and product owners to ensure zero-defect releases hit the market. This role demands a sharp eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and the willingness to deep-dive into both manual and automated testing workflows. The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Maintain detailed test documentation, including manual test cases, automated scripts, test data, and mobile-specific test scenarios

• Perform hands-on manual testing across web and mobile applications (iOS & Android), covering functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and compatibility testing

• Execute, maintain, and enhance automated test suites, ensuring stable coverage across web and mobile platforms

• Continuously monitor system and application behavior to proactively detect defects, performance issues, and mobile-specific inconsistencies

• Design and execute structured test plans and manual exploratory testing approaches to identify bugs, edge cases, and potential vulnerabilities in end-user-facing applications

• Validate fixes, re-test impacted areas, and implement feedback quickly to ensure high-quality releases

• Produce clear, actionable test reports, documenting manual and automated test results, defects, and quality risks for stakeholders

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, working with software development teams

• Experience in at least one programming language -Python, Java and familiarity with web technologies (preferably React, Spring Boot)

• Basic knowledge of SQL (e.g., querying PostgreSQL or MySQL)

• Analytical approach to troubleshooting & Attention to detail

• Time management skills and organizational skills

• Experience with Appium or Selenium WebDriver will be consider as an asset

• Experience in Continuous Integration process and test management tools such as Jenkins, Jira etc. will be consider as an asset
