Senior Treasurer

The&nbsp;Deals Services of Grant Thornton Greece&nbsp;is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented&nbsp;Audit Assistant / Associate Advisor&nbsp;to join our&nbsp;Deals Services&nbsp;team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the audiovisual productions that are related to Government and other Grants and rebates. Collaborating with a diverse team of experts, you will offer critical insights and support to our clients of the audiovisual sector (Media, Cinema, TV Channels &amp; Production Companies). This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.As part of the Deals, your role will involve conducting in-depth monitoring in accounting records, audit on invoices &amp; payroll expenses, payments in accordance with contracts in order to figure out whether those expenses as a whole are eligible for the purposes of funding of the Hellenic Film &amp; Audiovisual Center (Creative Greece). The key responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Collect and grouping all the relevant invoices from our customers.</li><li>Prepare the relevant legal and accompanying documents that need to be collected in the initial submission of every investment plan.</li><li>Manage deficiencies / failures in accounting records, identify them &amp; propose solutions.</li><li>Extensive audit in payroll, tax &amp; social contribution for employees.</li><li>Review contracts with residential &amp; non – residential customers in order to certify the validity of the expense as a whole.</li><li>Compare Budget Data with Actual Expenses of every investment plan.</li><li>Data entry in the excel file of the budget, check completeness and validity.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of reports to banks related to loan agreements for the purposes of the investment plan execution.</li><li>Summarize findings and provide insights &amp; clarifications as a consultant in order to improve relevant business systems &amp; procedures.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and completeness of reports.</li><li>Organize all the relevant documents for the completion of the investment plan and the collection of the final rebate.</li><li>Perform Digital File Organization of all the relevant documents mentioned above.</li></ul> The key requirements of this role are:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting &amp; Finance, Business Administration, or Economics with an excellent academic record.</li><li>Master’s degree or relevant professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CFA) in any of the above-mentioned disciplines will be considered a strong asset.</li><li>Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.</li><li>Problem-solving, analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills.</li><li>Up to 1 years (Assistant) or 1+ years (Associate) of relevant professional experience, preferably in accounting within an audit/consulting firm.</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English, both orally and verbally.</li><li>Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable).</li></ul> What will we offer to you?🏋️‍️Friendly and dynamic working environment💰 Competitive remuneration👩‍🏫 Formal training and Professional Qualifications fully funded (eg.
