We are seeking a proactive and skilled Network & IT Administrator with 3 to 5 years of experience in both on-premises and cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our company’s network infrastructure and on-prem/cloud services-environment, ensuring reliable and efficient IT operations. This role will include managing Active Directory services, enabling secure and efficient user management across the organization. You will collaborate closely with other IT team members to provide technical support, manage network hardware, monitor security protocols, and support hybrid infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Administration:

• Manage and maintain the company’s on-premises network, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance network reliability and performance.
• Develop and enforce network policies and procedures, including network security protocols.

Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Administer a hybrid environment combining on-premises and cloud infrastructure to support applications, data storage, and backup needs.
• Administer Oracle DB is a strong plus
• Manage Active Directory services across the hybrid environment, including user provisioning, synchronization, group policies, and access management in both on-premises and cloud directories.
• Optimize resource allocation across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient performance.

Security & Compliance:

• Monitor and secure network and cloud environments against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and cyber threats.
• Conduct regular audits, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity best practices and apply these within network, on-prem and cloud infrastructure.

IT Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support to internal teams and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain IT infrastructure documentation, including Active Directory structure, and update system inventory.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.

System Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and optimize network performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Implement automation and monitoring tools to improve system reliability and scalability.
• Participate in capacity planning, ensuring the network and cloud infrastructure, including Active Directory, can support future growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 3 to 5 years in network administration or IT infrastructure roles.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Hands-on experience managing firewalls, routers, and switches (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure or AWS).
• Expertise in managing and configuring Active Directory in both on-premises and cloud (Entra ID) environments.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud and on-premises integration strategies

Security Knowledge: Familiarity with security best practices, VPNs,SDWAN, firewalls, and anti-virus solutions.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Certifications (preferred): CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet,Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
