The Motor Claims Handler is responsible for the efficient and customer-focused handling of motor and general insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with policy terms, internal guidelines and Generali Group standards.
The role contributes to delivering an excellent customer experience, leveraging modern claims management practices and supporting the Company’s commitment to professionalism, innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Handle motor and general insurance claims in accordance with policy terms, internal claims regulations and company strategy.
Ensure high-quality customer service to policyholders and partners, within defined service timelines and standards.
Monitor and manage claims files end-to-end, including system updates, documentation, payment instructions and settlement processing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims activities in the relevant systems.
Communicate effectively with loss adjusters, customers, intermediaries, repairers and third parties to support claims handling and resolution.
Assess claims information, identify issues and contribute to fair, timely and consistent claims decisions.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and data protection standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by adopting modern tools and digital approaches in claims handling.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Insurance or a related field (recent graduates are welcome to apply)
Previous experience in motor claims, insurance operations or customer service is considered an asset
Strong interest in the insurance sector and claims management
Good knowledge of MS Office applications
Very good written and verbal communication skills ( English & Greek )
