Βασικές προϋποθέσεις

  • 3+ χρόνια εμπειρίας
  • Εγκατάσταση hardware και software με συντήρηση και επίλυση προβλημάτων συστημάτων και δικτύων
  • Επίγνωση τηλεπικοινωνιακής υποδομής καλωδίωσης copper Category 5, 5e, 6, 6a και 7
  • Γνώσεις δικτύων και διαμόρφωση λειτουργικών συστημάτων
  • Διαχείριση αποθεμάτων hardware IT&T
  • Οργανωτικές και αναλυτικές δεξιότητες με ικανότητες επίλυσης προβλημάτων
  • Ομαδικό πνεύμα και προσανατολισμός στην εξυπηρέτηση πελατών
  • Διαθεσιμότητα για εργασία σε βάρδιες
  • Καλή γνώση της Αγγλικής και της Ελληνικής γλώσσας
  • Πληροφορική / Ηλεκτρονική Μηχανική / Οποιοδήποτε Πεδίοκατά προτίμηση

Περιγραφή Θέσης

We are responsible for operating, managing, and upgrading 14 Regional Airports in the most attractive destinations in Greece! If you feel fit the role’s requirements, apply for the “IT&T Field Engineer.”

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, monitoring and maintaining the Airport’s IT&T systems and networks, identifying and resolving hardware or software issues on-site and remotely, as well as performing cabling works and patching, ongoing routine checks on machinery and maintaining/updating the equipment inventory.

The role is located in our premises at Rodos (RHO) Airport.

What will you be doing?

  • Install and configure hardware, operating systems and applications on-site.

  • Maintain and monitor the Airport’s IT&T systems and networks.

  • Diagnose and resolve first-level hardware and/or software issues.

  • Supervise external providers on-site at the Airport’s IT&T Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Secondary Distribution Frames (SDFs).

  • Receive, safekeep, and record IT&T hardware assets on local inventory.

  • Identify end users’ needs proactively during the daily walk-throughs in the Airport.

  • Actively participates in ad hoc projects according to departmental and the company’s goals.

  • Stay updated with the latest technological trends regarding the Airport’s equipment installation base

  • Available to work in shifts.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology/Computer Systems/Electronics Engineering or similar.

  • Minimum three years of previous professional experience in a similar role, preferably in Aviation.

  • Extensive telecommunications cabling infrastructure knowledge, especially copper Category 5, 5e, 6, 6a and 7.

  • Network and/or system certifications are considered assets.

  • Very good knowledge of Greek and English on both an oral and written level

  • Excellent knowledge and experience in hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems and networks.

  • Available to work in shifts.

  • Fulfilled Military Obligations, if applicable.

On 11th April 2017 full payment of the €1.234 billion upfront concession fee was made by Fraport Greece in tandem with the transfer of operations at the 14 airports for a period of 40 years.

In tandem with the start-up of its concession for managing the eleven island and the three mainland airports across Greece, Fraport Greece realized a comprehensive plan for the modernization and development of the airports.
Fraport Greece’s innovative €440 million airport development program has significantly transformed these airports. In particular, Fraport Greece has delivered five brand new terminals, expanded and modernized five existing terminals, and upgraded four other terminals. Construction projects at airside operational areas of the regional airports included renovating 12 runways, improving ramp areas, and constructing and renovating 12 fire stations. All of the airports have also been equipped with new state-of-the-art baggage handling and security systems.

The 14 Greek regional airports project is one of the largest and most beneficial investments and is a basis for boosting the Greek economy. Fraport Greece enhances the airports’ international competitiveness by the optimization of operational processes, the modernization and upgrade of the airports’ infrastructure and the continuous training of employees.
