CrediaBank is seeking a Data and Model Monitoring Expert, to ensure the Group’s compliance with BCBS 239 and RDARR principles by enhancing risk data aggregation, governance and reporting capabilities. This role also supports the continuous monitoring of risk and operational models to ensure data integrity, regulatory alignment and operational resilience with emphasis on Group’s international activities.
Responsibilities
• Support RDARR Gap Analysis assessment, implement and maintain frameworks aligned with the BCBS 239 principles, focusing on:
▪ Governance and infrastructure
▪ Risk data aggregation capabilities
▪ Risk reporting practices
▪ Supervisory review and cooperation
• Ensure traceability, auditability and completeness of risk data across systems and business units
• Collaborate with IT and data architecture teams to enhance metadatamanagement, data lineage and systems integration
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance policies
• Develop, monitor and report on data quality KPIs (accuracy, completeness, timeliness)
• Support remediation of data issues and promote data stewardship across Group departments
• Support supervisory reviews, including targeted RDARR inspections
• Maintain a centralised repository of risk data definitions, model metadata
• Develop and perform quantitative model monitoring assessments for risk and operational models
• Contribute to Group’s model governance and development frameworks updates.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Μaster’s degree in Risk Management, Data Science, Finance, Statistics or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in risk data governance or in model development/monitoring
• Strong understanding of BCBS 239 principles and RDARR framework
• Proficiency in data tools (SQL, Python, SAS, Power BI) and metadata management
• Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Very good computer literacy, with strong use of MS Office
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to combine complex information and propose holistic, result-oriented solutions
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Flexibility, adaptability and capability to manage change
