Τι θα κάνεις
- Επιβλέπεις τις καθημερινές λειτουργίες του λογιστικού τμήματος συμπεριλαμβανομένης της διαχείρισης γενικού καθολικού και της τήρησης βιβλίων
- Ετοιμάζεις, αναθεωρείς και αναλύεις οικονομικές καταστάσεις σύμφωνα με τα πρότυπα GAAP ή IFRS και εταιρικές πολιτικές
- Παρακολουθείς την οικονομική απόδοση μέσω δημιουργίας προϋπολογισμού, προβλέψεων και ανάλυσης αποκλίσεων
- Διαχειρίζεσαι την έγκαιρη ολοκλήρωση των μηνιαίων, τριμηνιαίων και ετήσιων οικονομικών κλεισιμάτων
- Επιβλέπεις την προετοιμασία και υποβολή φορολογικών δηλώσεων διασφαλίζοντας φορολογική συμμόρφωση
- Αναπτύσσεις και εφαρμόζεις αποτελεσματικούς εσωτερικούς ελέγχους για την προστασία των περιουσιακών στοιχείων του ξενοδοχείου
- Συνεργάζεσαι με διευθυντές τμημάτων και ανώτατη διοίκηση για την παροχή χρηματοοικονομικών αναλύσεων και υποστήριξης στη λήψη αποφάσεων
Βασικές προϋποθέσεις
- 2+ χρόνια εμπειρίας
- Ηγεσία ομάδας και ανάπτυξη λογιστικού προσωπικού
- Λογιστική και Χρηματοοικονομικές Αναφορές με γνώση GAAP και IFRS
- Δημιουργία προϋπολογισμού, προβλέψεις και ανάλυση αποκλίσεων
- Φορολογική συμμόρφωση και εσωτερικός έλεγχος
- Άριστη χρήση λογιστικού λογισμικού, SAP ERP και συστημάτων διαχείρισης ξενοδοχείου όπως Opera PMS
- Αναλυτικές ικανότητες και προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια

Περιγραφή Θέσης
As a Chief Accountant, you will lead the accounting team, manage the financial reporting processes, and ensure the integrity of financial data. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with all financial regulations. Your expertise in accounting will be essential in driving the hotel’s financial performance and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger maintenance, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
Monitor the financial performance of the organization through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
Manage and ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Supervise the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national tax regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to protect hotel assets and uphold financial integrity.
Collaborate with department heads and senior management to provide actionable financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
Strong understanding of hospitality accounting practices, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Proven ability to lead and develop an accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence.
Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Proficient in accounting software and hotel management systems; experience with Opera PMS is a plus.
Fluency in Greek and English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
Excellent knowledge of SAP ERP.
