senior/staff devops engineer (individual contributor role)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer or DevOps Architect to help us push our infrastructure and configuration management to the next level.

You are expected to have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale, complex, highly critical applications.

Your tasks will involve designing, implementing and improving solutions related to our infrastructure management. Advancing our infrastructure and architecture, you'll help migrate existing systems while working closely with the Dev and QA teams. You'll also find technical solutions to prevent or mitigate production issues, automate operations tasks and further visibility into the stack.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and administer tools which automate operational activities and improve engineering productivity

• Propose and drive architectural improvements, recommend process changes

• Find and solve production issues as well as root cause analysis

• Automate continuous delivery andon-demand capacity management solutions

• Develop configuration and infrastructure solutions for internal deployments

• Update, track and resolve myriad technical issues

• Evaluate new technology options and vendor products

• Ensure critical system security through the use of optimal security solutions

Requirements:

• 8+ years of technical experience in a similar role (architecting and supporting large-scale production systems)

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS and GCP

• Experience with large-scale distributed environments

• Robust programming skill in Python, Go, or similar

• Experience with configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, Docker, etc

• Demonstrable proficiency with Linux and Networking

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
