The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy, team, and operations for three resort hotel locations in Crete and Santorini, with a focus on maximizing revenue and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of the Crete hospitality market, as well as expertise in sales management, account development, and pricing strategies. The successful candidate will be a proactive, results-driven leader who can foster collaborative relationships across departments and with key clients. Indicative Position Responsibilities:  Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis, identifying growth opportunities, competitive advantages, and target customer segments. Sales Strategy Development: Develop tailored sales strategies for each resort location, establishing sales objectives and KPIs that align with the overall business goals. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Monitor and report on sales performance and KPIs, adjust strategies as needed, and conduct regular sales forecasts to inform strategic decision-making. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget, allocating resources effectively and monitoring expenses to ensure adherence to budget constraints. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, finance, and guest services, to ensure a seamless guest experience and efficient communication across the organization. Requirements Qualifications / personal characteristics: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of success. Experience managing multiple locations, preferably in the resort hotel market. Strong understanding of the Crete hospitality market, including competitor analysis, demand trends, and target customer segments. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills, with experience working with key clients and channel partners. Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and monitor sales strategies, objectives, and KPIs. Proficiency in CRM and revenue management systems. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Greek is a plus. Availability to travel frequently and to attend industry events and trade shows. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on Marketing Operations and Marketing Communications at the hotel level, ensuring that all platforms and channels are consistently updated and aligned with the hotel’s brand and guest experience goals. The ideal candidate will also create engaging social media content, respond to guest reviews, and collaborate with hotel teams to implement effective marketing initiatives. This position reports directly to the Central Marketing Department and collaborates on a regular basis with the Hotel Operation team. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Operations & Communications: • Collaborate with hotel operations to gather updates for services, facilities, and events. • Update and maintain content on Website, Booking Engine, Mobile App, Brochures , OTA and metasearch. • Monitor all in-house communication tools to ensure information is accurate, clear, and aligned with branding. • Check for errors or inconsistencies in updates across all platforms. Guest Review Management: • Monitor and respond to guest reviews on platforms such as Google, TripAdvisor, OTA channels, and internal tools • Monitor review statistics using review tools to identify trends and share insights with Commercial Department. • Create reports on guest reviews to support team discussions and service improvements. We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Sales & MICE Events Coordinator to join our Sales team. In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless coordination of sales tasks at hotel level and the flawless planning and execution of Weddings, Celebrations & MICE Events hosted at the property. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will act as a central liaison between the Sales Cluster Office, hotel departments, clients, and partners to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This position combines sales support with event operations coordination, requiring strong communication skills, impeccable organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering unforgettable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities: Sales Coordination: • Organize and conduct site inspections for TOs, TAs, FAM TRIPS, prospective MICE clients provide detailed follow-ups, including professional outcome reports. • Prepare wedding/ celebration offers in collaboration with Hotel Operation team to respond to client requests. • Handle the correspondence of wedding/ celebration requests, with the aim of confirming the event to the hotel premises. • Prepare wedding/ celebration agreements in collaboration with the Sales team. • Ensure that agreed payment terms of the wedding agreement are honored. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including contracts and agreements. • Ensure the availability of sales kits for client visits and other promotional needs. • Support, Sales & Marketing team on any other tasks needed. • Update the hotel’s content online and offline (hotel website, OTAs, Tour Operators, etc.). MICE Operations Coordination: • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision for weddings, celebrations, meetings, and events, translating ideas into actionable plans. • Follow up with the sales team to obtain or confirm event-related information promptly and accurately. • Co-operate closely with the sales team for the organization of the MICE events, upon the confirmation till the execution. • Provide operational and administrative support to ensure events align with both client and hotel objectives. • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell additional hotel services during event planning, such as spa packages, upgraded accommodations, or premium F&B options. • Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) in co-operation with the Sales person who handles the group and distribute them in a timely fashion to all relevant departments. • Conduct pre-event meetings between the client and the hotel operation team to finalize all necessary details and the event flow. • Coordinate with hotel departments (F&B, kitchen, operations) to ensure all event logistics, catering, and room setups are executed flawlessly. • Communicate with external vendors (decorators, florists, photographers) to align on event requirements and timelines. • Tour, inspect, and monitor event venues to ensure readiness. • Oversee on-site event execution, addressing any last-minute changes or challenges to ensure client satisfaction. • Ensure client feedback is communicated to relevant departments for continuous improvement. Communication, Administrative and Operational Support: • Draft and manage professional correspondence, including proposals, forms, inter-departmental documents, and post-event thank-you emails. • Maintain updated and accurate reports for event space bookings, group revenue, and other metrics using Excel or similar tools in co-operation with central sales. • Facilitate clear and efficient communication between clients, sales team, and hotel departments to ensure alignment on event-related expectations and details. • Ensure all related charges are posted by the hotel correctly and accepted by the client. • Finalize payments balance for weddings based on the agreement and relative correspondence. Arrange the settlement of the account. • Perform additional sales and event-related duties as assigned by the Senior Sales Manager.
