The job holder will be the IT Sales Account Manager for Vodafone Business Managed Cloud, Network, Security, SaaS and & Internet-of-Things solutions. Role purpose:  The job holder will be reporting to the Public Segment Operations Supervisor and will be taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. They will require strong people management and commercial as well as analytical skills and thorough knowledge of public bidding processes. Key accountabilities and decision ownership:  •   Ensure bidding process completeness and success, running due diligence for partners and subcontractors, minimizing risks for Vodafone. •   Ensure complete analysis of requirements and Vodafone positioning to fully address requirements •   Take full responsibility for the preparation of all bid participation requirements, from legal documents to completeness of technical proposal •   Ensure timely and on specs submission of public tender proposals •   Follow up on tender status post-submission •   Run contracts with partners, forming the contractual terms •   Perform cost analysis for the proposed solutions and forecast costs and revenues to business and finance teams indicating any deviations from initial plans •   Handle legal issues as advised by Vodafone legal teams •   Make sure that all information required to run the activities is gathered aiding the decision making for the different parts of the bidding process.   Who you are •   Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree or higher is considered an asset •   Excellent command in writing and speaking of the Greek and English language •   At least 3 years of experience of working on Public Sector bids  Desired: •   Knowledge of ΕΣΗΔΗΣ and other public bid submission platforms will be considered a strong asset  Core competencies, knowledge, and experience: •   Thorough knowledge of the legal and institutional framework of Public Procurement (i.e. Directive 2014/24/EU, national Law 4412/16)  •   Bid management experience & strong cooperative skills - team working •   Experience developing top-quality proposals, presentations and other client meeting documents •   Strong written communication skills •   Ability to deliver through internal VF cooperating teams and external partners, having end to end responsibility of the outcome •   Previous working experience at coordinating bid processes •   Strong results orientation and strategic thinking that will drive the assurance of the activities operation for Vodafone and partners. •   Very good interpersonal skills and ability of fluent communication with customers, internal and external Vodafone stakeholders Not a perfect fit? What you’ll do The Enterprise Engineering & Solution (EES) department within Network Engineering is responsible for designing and developing enterprise solutions integrated into the Vodafone Network. Within this department, the Enterprise VPN/Internet Engineering team design and deliver the connectivity services such as MPLS Layer 3 VPN (Company Net), Internet Access, WiFi. More specifically, as an Enterprise Fixed Services Engineer you will: •   Manage the full lifecycle of projects: feasibility study, development, testing, acceptance, and implementation of network platforms, in all technology areas needed to deliver services to Business Customers  •   Interface local market (Sales, VBTS, Product) and performs feasibility assessment of network impact for new service requests •   Apply Feasibility Assessment & Delivery Management processes  •   Define the project plan in agreement with all parties involved including the external stakeholders. Defines the detailed project activities and monitors/tracks them permanently •   Build the project's organizational model and makes sure that resources are always available, so that project deliverables are not affected (no business impact) •  Be responsible for the information flow/ communication within the team and with the main stakeholders, internal and external NSE (stage gate approval, complete technical solution sharing and associated costs) •   Perform risk management and change management as part of the project activities to make the business requirements of the external customers are met, including costs, timelines and agreed quality KPIs •   Permanently tracks projects’ evolution and timely reports project status to all stakeholders •   Implement solid program & project management principles and related PM tools across the organization Who you are •   University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent  •   Six years of experience in Telecommunications sector; experience in Enterprise Segment Access & Telephony will be considered an advantage •   Good awareness of wider technology aspects in telecommunications and ICT •   Good understanding of Access and IP Routing technologies •   Understanding of IP (Fixed and Mobile) telephony •   Understanding of Security considerations and market solutions on the area •   Inter-functional relationships between network elements •   Financial acumen •   PM Certification is considered a plus •   Ability to work within virtual teams and interface with multi-national clients •   Good knowledge of the overall network architecture (all domains) •   German language is welcome Not a perfect fit? Acting as Messaging Engineering Expert on staff level for Messaging in Vodafone DE. Activities includes to work on the architecture of the Messaging services with the supplier, to identify and implement solutions with internal technical teams, do capacity planning, drive cross functional projects and align with commercial, legal and security teams. The role ensures the stability and uninterrupted Messaging services. It aims to maintain and improve the high level of service offered to customers at a minimum cost, contributing to company profitability and growth through innovative thinking and independent working. •   To satisfy local and global marketing requirements in the area of Messaging Services including SMS, Voicemail, IP Messaging, Public Warning Services (PWS / Cell Broadcast), and Enterprise IVR evolution for VF-DE and central infrastructure •   To define, design and implement solutions in the area of Messaging Services to cope with business or regulations requirements or technology evolution inside the European Region, including supplier management, quality certification and steering the delivery. •   To drive Messaging Services features and platform evolution inside the European Region, through harmonization & hosting projects, in cooperation with other opcos within the Region. As a Network Security Engineer you will be responsible for the overall High/Low Level Design and working configuration for the network security capabilities that support reliable and secure hosted and collaborative services across the whole Vodafone business, mainly focused Data Center and Office network environments. More specifically you will: •   Drive increased quality of our network end to end •   Provide HLDs, LLDs, define templates, modularize and industrialize configuration items and their implementation. •   Deploy the network fit for purpose including understanding of how our services/applications layer will run across the network (capacity, capability, utilisation) •   Harmonize office LAN services, enable seamless access over a converged wired/wireless network to global IT systems and provide guest services for external partner services as well as Third party connectivity •   Implement Virtualisation and segregation concepts •   Conduct proof of concept (POC) validation •   Responsible for optimal implementation process that delivers ensured quality •   Quality assurance in the design and implementation process •   Responsible to ensure a network documentation •   Responsible to ensure network harmonisation and standardization across the Region / the local market Who you are •   An academic degree and/or at least 3/5 years work experience in an IT organization supporting large heterogeneous IT infrastructures.  •   Experiences in project management •   Result-oriented and enjoy taking initiative as well as responsibility •   Fluent English oral and written •   Understanding of operational environments and delivery projects •   Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results/change •   Familiarity with other engineering domains or teams involved in network security aspects such as OSS, IT and CSO departments  •   Knowledge of Mobile Network Operator environment as well as 3GPP standard architectures •   Strong experience in Python and GoLang, automation scripting, and automation frameworks •   Designed, developed, and executed System Test documents (Test Strategy, Test setup, Test Report), test case documents •   Expert Knowledge in networks (TCP/IP, Protocols, Structures, Hardware, Security) •   Expert Knowledge in the area of the installation and configuration of network components (Routers, Firewalls) •   Deep knowledge of IP networks security systems, with experience on the engineering and management of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, PKI, and content filtering platforms. •   Expert Knowledge in security (Encryption, Authentication, Authorization, Accounting, 802.1x, PKI, certificates) •   Knowledge in network management and network analysis Not a perfect fit? As a Sr. Expert Network Engineer you will lead in a range of network solution engineering and software engineering activities related to assessing, planning, designing, implementating and evolving IMS network solutions according to market priorities, technology evolution, group strategy recommendations, quality/security assurance, business continuity planning and customer experience excellence.     •   Lead the evolution of the IMS Core Network by proactively providing and promoting ideas while being independent and self-responsible around design and optimization of IMS solutions, including also the introduction of Cloud Native, digital automation and other innovative technologies •   Actively lead the Feasibility Analysis during the conceptual assessment of a demand and drive the High/Low Level Solution Design during the deployment phase around technical solutions impacting the IMS network functions •   Lead the IMS network planning and SW engineering, with strong focus on meeting targets for traffic growth and quality/performance KPIs, while ensuring the best network quality, customer experience excellence, operational simplicity and efficiency on resources •   Drive the harmonization and consolidation on design, planning and deployment activities across the different markets and ensure consistent introduction and evolution of new technologies •   Work within Technology Strategy Guidance on the evolution and roadmap of the IMS software applications, influencing it to consider real-life use of the software, to address its limitations, as well as to make it better suited to the needs of the company in terms of cost, efficiency, reliability, scalability, ease of operation, etc.  Who you are •   Degree in Electrical/Electronic Telecommunications Engineering and/or Computer Science •   Ability to work in an international framework across multi-functional and multi-cultural boundaries to drive results and improve performance  •   Ability to adapt and manage efficiently changes  •   Very deep knowledge of core network architectures and protocols, with specific reference to the IMS core based networking and solutions •   Several years of experience in planning, design, engineering, testing or even advanced support within mobile and/or fixed network area of a telecom operator •   At least 3 years of working experience in the field of telecommunications technology around deployment and evolution of telecommunications systems and products/services •   Knowledge of Voice and IP Network communications, interfaces and protocols for mobile/fixed networking in parallel with high eligibility on working with network tracing tools •   Technical leadership skills for the decisive design of specialist topics and representation of positions, together with the ability to drive technical discussions from an e2e Solution Authority role among diverse internal/external stakeholders •   Nice to have a relevant working experience in agile way of working (preferably using SAFe), the Lean-Agile mindset and agile transformation  •   Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written) Not a perfect fit?
