Financial Analyst in FS - Financial Advisory

The Role in Detail<ul><li>Assisting in the day-to-day management of corporate turnaround, operational restructuring, and performance improvement projects. This includes liquidity management, financing, capital structure optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.</li><li>Contributing to the design and implementation of cash flow forecasting models to support effective financial management.</li><li>Leading the preparation of business plans, financial information packages, and management presentations to support strategic decision-making.</li><li>Analyzing financial statements and operational data to enhance client liquidity, optimize credit availability, improve operational efficiency, and maximize shareholder returns.</li><li>Utilizing financial and operational expertise to assess crisis situations, support business stabilization, and drive operational restructuring efforts, including cost optimization and process improvement.</li><li>Assisting clients in identifying value creation and performance improvement opportunities within their organizations and developing actionable strategies to achieve operational excellence.</li><li>Participating in a variety of advisory projects, including operational restructuring, with regular interactions with clients, banks, private credit funds, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Proactively seeking challenges and opportunities to enhance individual and team strengths, expand skill sets, and foster a collaborative learning environment.</li></ul>What You'll bring:<ul><li>2-3 years’ experience in financial &amp; operational restructuring and turnaround, pre-pack, out-of-court workout (OCW), M&amp;A.</li><li>Excellent academic background, including a Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university in Accounting / Finance / Banking / Economics, or other related field with a strong quantitative focus.</li><li>Master’s degree or relevant professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CFA) in any of the above-mentioned disciplines will be considered a strong asset.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal skills both in Greek and English.</li><li>Advanced knowledge in MS Office packages, in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>Knowledge of IFRS and Greek GAAP.</li><li>Excellent report writing and presentation skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a team and to tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and project management skills.</li><li>Effective communication and rapport building skills.</li><li>Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions.</li><li>Motivation for career progression and development.</li><li>Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable).</li></ul>What’s in it for You?At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards!
