The Machine Shop Leader&nbsp;oversees production operations, ensuring components meet design specifications. They supervise and train staff, coordinate schedules, address equipment needs, and resolve in-process issues while optimizing workflows and maintaining quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.&nbsp;Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervises Machine shop’s Team leaders and machine operators to produce product components that follows design specifications.</li><li>Overall schedule of department’s assignments and acts as technical advisor to Team Leaders.</li><li>Coordination with other departments’ supervisors for production flow issues.</li><li>Evaluates the performance of subordinate level workers.</li><li>Conducts time and costing studies.</li><li>Ensures and verifies documentation is in order and understood, such as production drawings, BOM’s, production orders.</li><li>Responsible for addressing equipment needs.</li><li>Responsible for in-process issues.</li><li>Supervises machine tools’ maintenance operations and provide technical support to Team Leaders.</li><li>Train new employees and assist with facility lay-out and workflow.</li></ul>Required academic background, knowledge and experience:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering&nbsp;is required (Polytechnic School).</li><li>3+ years of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment (machine shop floor).</li><li>Knowledge of sheet metal and solid part processing equipment.</li><li>Experience in CNC programming (turning center, milling center) .</li><li>Experience in 3D design software, preferably SolidWorks.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of English (oral &amp; written).</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office (word, excel, ppt), SAP is considered a plus.</li><li>Able to work in rotating shifts.</li></ul>&nbsp;Raycap is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
