The American College of Greece (ACG) is seeking a qualified and dynamic professional to join the Advancement Office as Manager, Advancement – Alumni. The successful candidate will manage and support programs that strengthen Alumni engagement, increase giving, and foster a culture of philanthropy and connection among ACG Alumni, parents, friends, and staff.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage selected Alumni programs and support others, including alumni groups and engagement platforms, to expand outreach, participation, and giving in alignment with Advancement strategic goals.</li><li>Collaborate with the Executive Directors on the development of new and the expansion of existing alumni engagement and fundraising programs targeting prospects in Greece and abroad</li><li>Plan, organize, and implement alumni, fundraising, and stewardship events both locally and internationally (e.g., alumni chapters), ensuring successful execution under the guidance of the Executive Directors.</li><li>Support fundraising and development initiatives.</li><li>Supervise and guide Advancement Office student assistants.</li><li>Support the Communications Manager with alumni-related engagement activities and campaigns.</li><li>Assist with daily operations and administrative processes within the Advancement Office.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director – Alumni.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing/Management, Public Relations, or a related field.</li><li>6–8 years of related professional experience &amp; 2–4 years of experience in customer service or stakeholder engagement roles.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Basic understanding of CRM systems, databases, and digital engagement platforms.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Excellent project management, event coordination, and organizational abilities.</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Familiarity with fundraising principles and donor stewardship.</li><li>Basic budget and vendor management skills.</li></ul>Other requirements:<ul><li>Willingness to attend Advancement Office events in Greece and abroad as required.</li></ul>

Manager – Advancement, Alumni

The American College of Greece (ACG) is seeking a motivated professional to join the Advancement Office as Coordinator, Advancement – Alumni. The successful candidate will support alumni engagement initiatives, philanthropy activities, and the efficient daily operations of the Advancement Office, helping to foster strong and lasting relationships with alumni, parents, donors and the broader ACG community.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Coordinate daily office operations, including managing inquiries, calls/emails, alumni/visitor requests, supplies, requisitions, calendars, meetings, and general administrative tasks.</li><li>Manage the daily content and execution of the Advancement Office’s social media strategy and digital communication platforms, in collaboration with the Communications Manager, to enhance alumni engagement and giving.</li><li>Produce monthly social media and digital media metrics reports and support the development of communication strategy based on these analytics.</li><li>Support the planning and organization of events, solicitation campaigns, and engagement initiatives targeting alumni, parents, and prospects.</li><li>Coordinate scholarship communication for donors and recipients under supervision of the Senior Manager.</li><li>Support donor stewardship activities, including preparing letters, coordinating meetings, and assisting with small events.</li><li>Support outreach, engagement, and solicitation of Pierce Parents, in collaboration with the Executive Director of Advancement – Development.</li><li>Provide administrative support to the Advancement team.</li><li>Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing/Management, Public Relations, or related fields.</li><li>4–6 years of relevant professional experience.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Basic understanding of CRM systems, databases, and digital engagement platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of project management, social media management, and business communication processes.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate creativity.</li><li>Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.</li></ul>Other requirements:<ul><li>Availability to attend and support Advancement Office events when needed.</li></ul>

Coordinator, Advancement – Alumni

What we are looking for:<ul><li>Recognised teaching qualification with a specialism or strong background in music</li><li>Excellent teaching skills.</li><li>Strong musicianship, including confidence leading singing and performances.</li><li>A commitment to safeguarding children.</li><li>Knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is an advantage</li><li>Ability to teach Music across all Key Stages in the Junior School</li><li>Competence in the Piano.</li><li>Experience in leading school performances (advantage).</li><li>Experience of being part of a highly successful department and school.</li><li>Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills</li><li>Ability to use ICT to facilitate learning and for effective management and administration.</li><li>Resilience and optimism; someone who is willing to go the extra mile in the busy life of the school.</li><li></li></ul>Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning<ul><li>Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality music lessons across the Junior School, aligned with the English National Curriculum, IPC and school policies.</li><li>Ensure clear progression in musical skills, knowledge, and understanding across year groups.&nbsp;</li><li>Promote active music-making through singing, performing, composing, listening, and appraising.</li><li>Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including EAL learners and those with additional learning needs.</li><li>Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress, inform planning, and support pupil development. Coordination and Leadership of Junior School Music</li><li>Coordinate the Junior School music programme to ensure consistency, progression, and high standards across the phase.</li><li>Lead the planning and delivery of Junior School concerts, performances, productions, and musical contributions to assemblies and school events.</li><li>Establish, promote, and oversee age-appropriate music clubs, choirs, orchestra and ensembles.</li><li>Collaborate with EYFS and Senior School music teachers</li><li>Support and liaise with visiting or peripatetic music teachers to enhance instrumental and enrichment provision. </li></ul>Enrichment, Inclusion, and Performance<ul><li>Promote inclusive participation in music, ensuring opportunities are accessible to pupils of all abilities and backgrounds.</li><li>Encourage confidence, teamwork, creativity, and self-expression through musical activities.</li><li>Identify and nurture musical potential while maintaining a broad and balanced approach to participation. </li></ul>Curriculum Development and Resources<ul><li>Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the Junior School music curriculum.</li><li>Select, manage, and maintain musical instruments, resources, and equipment safely and effectively.</li><li>Use music technology appropriately to enhance teaching, learning, and performance. </li></ul>Professional Responsibilities<ul><li>Work collaboratively with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and whole-school initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents regarding pupils’ musical progress, performances, and enrichment opportunities.</li><li>Participate fully in school life, including meetings, events, supervision duties, and professional development.</li><li>Engage in reflective practice and professional learning to maintain high standards of teaching and leadership. </li></ul>Safeguarding and Conduct<ul><li>Uphold the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures at all times.</li><li>Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.</li><li>Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct in line with school expectations and international best practice.
