We are looking for a&nbsp;DevOps engineer&nbsp;to join our talented IT team and contribute to building the GitOps capabilities for provisioning and deploying in-house developed applications. He/she will work closely with the Developers’ and System Engineers’ teams and use their feedback to innovate, automate, drive process and service improvements on the available systems.Key Accountabilities<ul><li>Build and Maintain Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and automation tools in close collaboration with Technology Operations &amp; Cloud Infrastructure Division.</li><li>Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, expand, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery systems.</li><li>Enhance Reliability: Implement proactive alerts and troubleshoot infrastructure/software integration issues to maximize reliability, uptime, and performance.</li><li>Maintain Security and Compliance: Assist in maintaining infrastructure security, managing permissions, and ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.</li><li>Collaborate Closely: Partner with software engineers and product managers to support infrastructure needs, and system improvements.</li></ul>Knowledge and experience<ul><li>BSc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other science degree.</li><li>At least 3 years of professional experience in similar roles.</li><li>Experience in VMWare vCenter, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.</li><li>Good knowledge of source code management tools (Git, SVN, etc.).</li><li>Scripting skills in more than one of the following languages: Bash, Ruby, Groovy, Python, PHP, Perl.</li><li>Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab Runners or similar</li></ul>It will be considered a plus if you have experience&nbsp;:&nbsp;<ul><li>in systems engineering/administration.</li><li>in using Configuration Management or Deployment tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Helm).</li><li>with cloud services management (GCP, Azure, AWS).</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competences<ul><li>Excellent problem-solving skills to develop quick and effective solutions for complex issues.</li><li>Eager to learn new things and to share his/her own ideas.</li><li>Fluent in both Greek and English.</li><li>Fulfilled military obligations (for men).</li></ul>What we offerAt Athens Exchange Group, we highly value our employees and provide them with a work environment that fosters creativity and personal growth.
