As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Fiber2All network (Fiber optic network, FTTH/FTTC infrastructure) to ensure optimum performance 24/7/365 and deliver the expected customer satisfaction and revenue targets. You will manage network design projects & local FO rollout deployment and operation projects through managing all Fiber2all subcontractors and contracts. Execute fixed network operation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of delivery according to H&S guidelines including in life contract management ( supplier KPI/SLA/Commercial/vouchers/credits ), procurement and logistic activities to ensure successful deployment of solutions. • Execute fiber network deployment, Supervise & coordinate field deployment activities which are carried out from subcontractors • Manages network rollout projects and resolves issues and problems during construction phase • Ensures that network design guidelines and specs are followed in FO construction • He is responsible to secure that guidelines, standards & procedures on H&S are met in the field deployment • Perform field audits • Prepare reports for FO network status and issues Who you are • Degree in Engineering and/or TEI/IEK equivalent certifications in Fiber Optic technology, or Communications • English language (Fluent oral and written) • Κnowledge in optical fiber networks (3 years’ experience in Fixed Access Networks/ FO deployment • In-depth knowledge of the following networking technologies: o Construction of FO networks o FO passive equipment understanding o FO cabling specs o FO Network Design • Relevant Networking related certifications are desirable and will be considered a plus • Proven analytical capability • Ability to multi-task and prioritize job requirements. Starting with the role: Currently we are searching to hire an Assistant Grid Project Manager who will support Grid Construction Projects , in terms of stakeholders coordination, supervision of construction and assurance, to make sure that the project will be completed on time, with the quality required and within budget and scope. During your day you will: Support the Grid Project Manager and cooperate with teams across Renewables and Development Department to define scope and objectives and ensure technical feasibility. Support the Grid Project Manager to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, quality and budget. Participate in the development of a detailed project plan and track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors and supervise on-site when required. Monitor budget and provide recommendations to make necessary adjustments. Prepare and maintain project documentation and top management status reports. Handle changes to the project scope, schedule and costs, in cooperation with the Grid Project Manager, using appropriate verification techniques. What you need to stand out: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus 1-3 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in construction field and Grid projects Strong understanding of the execution of Grid projects Knowledge of RES project execution regulatory and Health and Safety framework Knowledge of power engineering, electricity production and transmission Experience in managing contractors and technical teams on project sites Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and Autocad Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
