What you'll do

- Coordinate analysis and resolution of aged debtors, creditors, accruals, and intercompany balances
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes including invoicing and collections
- Prepare and monitor annual budget and rolling forecasts incorporating market and vessel data
- Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring adequate liquidity for vessel-related costs
- Lead shipping entities’ contribution to group annual accounts and audit process
- Own statutory audit process and liaise with external auditors for timely closure
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards including IAS 16, IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16
- Expertise in financial reporting, accounting controls, and financial control
- Skills in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and data accuracy and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with IT/finance systems
- Experience in internal and external audit coordination and tax compliance
- Competence in working capital and cash flow management, journal entries review, and account reconciliations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Accounting and Reporting / Business Administration / Finance / Economicspreferred
