  • Coordinate analysis and resolution of aged debtors, creditors, accruals, and intercompany balances
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes including invoicing and collections
  • Prepare and monitor annual budget and rolling forecasts incorporating market and vessel data
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring adequate liquidity for vessel-related costs
  • Lead shipping entities’ contribution to group annual accounts and audit process
  • Own statutory audit process and liaise with external auditors for timely closure

Key requirements

  • 5+ years' experience
  • Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards including IAS 16, IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16
  • Expertise in financial reporting, accounting controls, and financial control
  • Skills in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and data accuracy and reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with IT/finance systems
  • Experience in internal and external audit coordination and tax compliance
  • Competence in working capital and cash flow management, journal entries review, and account reconciliations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Accounting and Reporting / Business Administration / Finance / Economicspreferred
