About the job

Deree College Athletic Club (DCAC) seeks a Tennis Coach to join the Deree Tennis Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching sessions, supporting athlete development, and contributing to the successful operation and growth of the Academy. The position requires a motivated professional who is committed to fostering a positive, safe, and engaging athletic environment for children and young athletes.

Location: ACG Campus, Agia Paraskevi, Athens

Working Hours: 19 hours per week

Start Date: September 2026

Application Deadline: Until the position is filled

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach the assigned teams and training groups of the Deree Tennis Academy.

  • Provide coaching support to ensure the effective operation of the Deree Tennis Academy.

  • Assist in the organization and implementation of Deree Tennis Academy activities and events.

  • Support the communication and promotion of the programs offered by the Deree Tennis Academy and the Deree College Athletic Club (DCAC).

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Tennis Coaching License issued by the General Secretariat of Sports (GSS), in its official coaches’ registry. Applications submitted without the required coaching license will not be considered.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sport Science or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.

  • English language proficiency (minimum Lower Diploma level).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software applications.

  • Tennis coaching certifications and/or participation in coaching seminars and professional development programs.

  • First Aid and CPR Certification.

  • Experience coaching and teaching children and adolescents.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Athletic background.
