Key requirements
- PhD in Sociology with specialization in Political Sociology
- Teaching experience in Sociology at English-speaking higher education institutions
- Active research record and publications, grant funding for research appreciated
- Eligibility for Hellenic Ministry of Education registration
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capability
- Course administration, curricular development, and student-centered teaching approach
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

The Department of Social Sciences of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Deree – The American College of Greece seeks a part-time instructor for its Sociology Program.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach face-to-face undergraduate level courses in:
Sociology of Globalization
Collective Action and Social Movements
And introductory courses
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Sociology, preferably with specialization on Political Sociology
At least one degree from a US or UK-accredited institution
Teaching experience in Sociology preferably at a US, UK, or other English-speaking higher education institution.
Active research record and publications (a record of grant funding for relevant projects will be appreciated)
Eligibility for Hellenic Ministry of Education registration number.
