About the job

The School of Science and Technology at Deree-The American College of Greece seeks part-time instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Mathematics/Statistics.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Mathematics/Statistics, preferably with at least one graduate degree from a US or a UK accredited institution.

  • Teaching experience, preferably at a US or a UK higher education institution.

  • For Statistics courses,

    • broad practical and theoretical knowledge in Statistics and Data Analytics,

    • practical experience in Excel and basic computer programming using Python, R, or others.

  • For other Mathematics courses,

    • broad practical and theoretical knowledge in Calculus,

    • practical experience in basic computer programming using Python, Matlab, or others.

  • Research record is highly desirable.

General Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.

  • A commitment to student-centered learning.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on research and teaching programs.
