About the job
The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Deree – The American College of Greece seeks a Part-Time Instructor to teach courses in Media & Communication.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in Media and Communication studies
- Teaching experience in undergraduate and/or graduate programs, preferably at an English-speaking institution
- Strong potential to engage in scholarly research
- At least one degree from a US or UK institution
Required Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the current literature, theories, concepts and perspectives in media and communications, especially in the area of digital media studies
- Knowledge of the communication industry and related professional practices.
- A student-centered, interactive approach to teaching and learning.
General Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding command of spoken and written English
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective teaching
- Proven ability to conduct and publish high-quality research
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
