What you'll do
- Supervise and inspect proper operation of plant installations, equipment, and facilities
- Ensure timely restoration of breakdowns and damages for mobile and fixed plant equipment

- Participate in contractor selection and evaluation based on technical and financial criteria
- Supervise contractor work related to maintenance and major breakdown restorations
- Plan, organize, and supervise execution of equipment improvements and technical projects
- Submit proposals for development and improvement of plant equipment
- Manage inventories and procurement activities including technical and financial supplier evaluation
- Coordinate and ensure implementation of annual maintenance plan balancing production and maintenance costs
- Prepare, monitor, and control department budget and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations
- Establish and maintain effective organizational structure within technical department
- Lead, develop, and motivate team members to ensure high productivity and positive working environment
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System requirements

The primary scope of this role is to plan, organize, supervise, and control the maintenance, repair, and modernization of the plant’s equipment and buildings, in line with applicable technical specifications and legal regulations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
Responsibilities
Supervise and inspect the proper operation of all plant installations, equipment,
and facilitiesEnsure timely restoration of breakdowns and damages related to mobile and
fixed plant equipment, as well as the implementation of preventive and
predictive maintenance programsParticipate in the selection and evaluation of contractors for specific projects
based on technical and financial evaluation, and supervise contractor works
related to maintenance and major breakdown restorationsStudy, plan, organize, and supervise the execution of equipment improvements
or new technical projects, aiming to improve efficiency of existing assets or
install new equipmentSubmit proposals for the development and improvement of plant equipment to
support uninterrupted operation and increased production efficiencyManage department inventories and procurement activities, including technical
and financial evaluation of suppliers, ensuring optimal cost and quality balanceIn collaboration with the Manufacturing Manager, coordinate the annual
maintenance plan and ensure its implementation, balancing production needs

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Integrated Master’s) from a Polytechnic School in Electrical
or Mechanical EngineeringProven experience in a similar technical or maintenance management role
within an industrial or manufacturing environment (heavy industry preferred)Strong knowledge of maintenance management, preventive and predictive
maintenance systems, and technical projects’ executionExperience in contractor management and technical supplier evaluation
Solid understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality management
requirements in industrial settingsStrong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
Cost-conscious and results-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Fluent in Greek and English (oral and written)
