What you'll do
- Characterize soft and hard magnetic materials through magnetic measurements
- Develop measurement setups for magnetic material evaluation
- Develop material validation plans and validation reports
- Organize magnetic material inventory with automated routines
- Perform 2D/3D FEA simulations to develop and understand magnetic measurement setups
Key requirements
- Electrical Engineering and Electromagnetics specialization in magnetic materials
- Model magnetic losses and perform magnetic measurements
- Strong understanding of electric circuits and electrical machines
- MATLAB programming skills
- Experience with Finite Element Method (FEM) for electric motors
- Use power analyzers and oscilloscopes for electrical measurements
- Conduct magnetic material characterization
- Perform 2D/3D FEA simulations for magnetic measurements
- Good communication skills
