What you'll do
- Design marine electrical systems and perform related analysis
- Create Electrical Load Schedules and Electrical Single Line diagrams
- Perform Short Circuit and Circuit breaker calculations
- Select electrical equipment for projects
- Prepare electrical cable schedules, cable tray layouts, and cable routes
- Develop termination diagrams
- Prepare electrical material take offs
- Integrate automation systems for vessels and yachts
- Prepare detailed design drawings and documentation
Key requirements
- Electrical systems design including marine applications
- Proficiency in EPLAN and Autocad software
- Electrical Load Schedule and Electrical Single Line diagrams preparation
- Short Circuit and Circuit breaker calculation skills
- Electrical cable schedule, cable tray layout, cable route preparation, termination diagram
- Electrical equipment selection and electrical material take offs
- Automation integrations knowledge for marine vessels
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- Electrical Engineering / Marine Electrical Engineeringpreferred
