What you'll do
- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects
- Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system simulations using software like HAP or EnergyPlus
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents with AutoCAD or Revit
- Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and standards such as ASHRAE, IECC, and NFPA
- Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient HVAC technologies such as VRF, heat recovery, and smart building controls
- Develop advanced Matlab functions for HVAC and thermal system modeling and optimization
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
- Matlab programming and Python programming skills
- Experience with HVAC systems design and simulation tools for HVAC analysis
- Energy modeling with HAP or EnergyPlus
- Knowledge of optimization algorithms
- Compliance with HVAC standards (ASHRAE, IECC, NFPA)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit
