senior application support engineer

We are looking to hire a Senior Application Support Engineer to contribute in keeping our customer-facing systems running smoothly 24/7 by responding to alerts and at times actively monitoring the applications and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Mitigate production incidents.
• Participate in incident triage and post-mortem reviews and document any findings.
• Proactively identify any potential issues to production.
• Track and document all issues and resolutions in detail through the ticketing system.
• Follow and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) to address recurring issues.
• Mentor colleagues.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• Experience in supporting large-scale applications and systems.
• Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills including analyzing logs and audit trails.
• Experience in using and configuring monitoring tools such as Grafana and ELK.
• Experience in configuring, maintaining and routing alerts.
• Experience in executing automated tasks and scripts to remediate production issues or collect information.
