junior agile delivery lead

This is an exciting position for an Junior Agile Delivery Lead who will play a key role in the introduction and evolution of agile techniques into our global software and IT Technology teams. The Agile delivery Lead will focus on optimising the team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team. The Agile Delivery Lead will work together with the Agile Delivery Manager to drive forward the introduction and evolution of agile techniques while building the Agile mindset and maturity within and across the teams.

What you'll be getting up to: 

•  Scrum adoption, the Junior Agile Delivery Lead will be a full-time scrum master; as scrum master you will help the teams understand the way they should interact with each other also helping the teams in removing impediments to the normal flow of work.
• Ensure that all Scrum events/ceremonies take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
• Lead, coach, train and help a number of Scrum Teams in adoption of a truly agile mindset.
• Facilitate the teams to self-organise, enabling continuous improvement that is aligned to the product/technology roadmaps and customer expectations.
• Help find and formulate techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management.
• Provide clear feedback and reporting for the team’s status and work progress back to the organisation.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology management, so as to identify patterns in impediments, resolve issues and formulate improvement steps and best practices in a unified and common approach.
• Track the available capacity of the team so as to help the Product Owner and the team plan backlog items and forecast delivery.
• Report, escalate horizontal on critical impediments that are above and beyond the boundaries of a team.
• Represent the scrum teams in horizontal or organisation level processes and events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related technical field.
• 1+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence.
• 1+ years of Project Delivery experience within IT.
• Understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.
• Experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager is an advantage.
