About the job

As Head of Product, you will be the primary overseeing the product roadmaps and the user experience for Core Pages across Sportserve. Your main responsibility will be to create and implement the medium and long-term product vision, ensuring it aligns with the commercial strategy developed by the executive management team. You will play a key role in gathering and generating innovative product ideas and enhancing the features of our current offerings. It will be essential for you to comprehend the strategic direction, requirements, and challenges that the business faces, as well as those posed by the external market and competitors, to ensure continuous improvement of our products for maximum business value.

What you'll be getting up to:

Product ownership:

  • Own the vision and roadmap for the registration, entry, my account and cashier pages, aligning them with company objectives and user needs.
  • Define clear KPIs to measure the performance and success of these pages and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and technological advancements to inform strategic decisions.

Product Development:

  • Prioritise and manage the product backlog for registration, my account, entry and cashier pages, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including marketing, operations, and customer support teams, to gather requirements and define features.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and optimisation.

User Experience Focus:

  • Ensure all design decisions are customer focused, balancing aesthetic appeal with functionality and performance.
  • Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for entry and cashier pages.
  • Conduct user research, A/B testing, and usability testing to validate design and feature decisions.

Data-Driven Optimisation:

  • Analyse user behaviour, conversion rates, and other key metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement data-driven changes to enhance user satisfaction, retention, and revenue generation.
  • Regularly report on the performance of entry and cashier pages and recommend strategic adjustments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a digital product environment.
  • Strong background in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing user-centered designs and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent understanding of agile methodologies and experience with tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to align diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • A natural strategic leader, with a talent for empowering and inspiring teams.
  • An excellent communicator, effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
