About the job
What you'll be getting up to:
- The three main areas you will be driving moving forward are a) Commercial: enhance the relationship with payment partners through KPI management and building strong contacts, b) Analysis: analyse all trends, data and other metrics to enhance customer experience and c) Process: rationalise our payment strategy, support the team recruiting new payment solutions and improve the processes with other parts of the operation.
- Evaluating business requirements, uncovering areas for improvement by utilising data-driven approaches, and developing and implementing solutions for the assigned payments products and related services;
- Identifying opportunities at scale to optimise customer experience and payments performance;
- Monitor PSP performance, resolve escalations, and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Identify and onboard new payment providers to expand market coverage and improve player experience.
- Working alongside the payment recruitment team and onboarding new payment solutions.
- Actioning and coordinating KYC & KYB in collaboration with the rest of the Payments team, Finance and Legal.
- Monitoring product performance and analysing customer behaviour to meet product demand and preferences;
- Working with the business to segment customer data, increase the performance levels and improve the commercial performance
- Steering payments projects to delivery in a timely manner and reporting project execution status;
- Ensuring the end-to-end customer experience is complete and accurate against the requirements;
- Focus and take ownership of the “cashier product” in terms of usability, performance, look and feel and overall attractiveness vs the competition
- Communicating and explaining where the stakeholders require further elaboration on the requirements;
- Gathering feedback by leading research and testing prior to project execution;
- Working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Data and Tech, to maintain a robust payments infrastructure that supports business growth and enhances the player experience.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of experience in payments partnerships, financial services, or a similar industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing strategic partnerships and achieving significant business results.
- Strong knowledge of global and local payment solutions, including emerging trends, regulatory standards, and cost optimisation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Strong ability to analyse data and structure processes that enhance partnership performance, providing a solid foundation for informed, data-driven deal development.
- Proven experience in leading high-stakes negotiations, contract management, and performance management to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Ability to think strategically and craft long-term partnership roadmaps that align with broader commercial and product objectives.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and sustain long-term partnerships with key stakeholders and external providers.
- Strong experience working with product, commercial, and regional teams to deliver seamless and integrated payment solutions.
- Excellent command of the English language - written & spoken.
- Previous experience in the Sports Betting or Gaming sector.
