About the job
We are seeking a skilled AI Bots Developer to design, build, and optimize advanced conversational AI solutions using Dialogflow CX (DFCX). The ideal candidate will have expertise in NLP, machine learning, and backend integration to create high-performing chatbots and virtual assistants that drive user engagement and operational efficiency.
What you'll be getting up to:
AI Bot Development & Optimization
- Design and develop conversational agents using Dialogflow CX, including intent/entity training, flow design, and multi-channel deployment (web, mobile, voice).
- Implement context-aware dialog management, session handling, and dynamic response generation in DFCX.
- Optimize bot performance through intent tuning, entity extraction, and fulfillment integration (webhooks, APIs).
NLP & Machine Learning Integration
- Train and fine-tune NLP models (e.g., BERT, GPT-3.5/4) for intent classification, entity recognition, and sentiment analysis.
- Build custom ML pipelines using frameworks like PyTorch, Hugging Face, or TensorFlow to enhance DFCX capabilities.
- Experiment with advanced techniques like few-shot learning or LLM prompting for complex conversational scenarios.
Backend Integration & Automation
- Integrate DFCX bots with backend systems (APIs, databases, CRM) using Python, FastAPI, or Node.js.
- Develop serverless cloud functions (e.g., GCP, AWS Lambda) for real-time data retrieval and processing.
- Troubleshoot and debug integration issues, ensuring seamless data flow between DFCX and external services.
Data-Driven Optimization
- Analyze conversation logs with tools like BigQuery or Looker to identify bottlenecks (e.g., fallback rates, misclassified intents).
- Implement A/B testing for dialog flows and response variations to improve user satisfaction (CSAT) and task completion rates.
- Use CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to automate bot deployment and version control.
Collaboration & Support
- Work with UX designers to refine chatbot interfaces and ensure natural user interactions.
- Partner with QA engineers to build test suites for intent accuracy and flow validation.
- Provide technical support for bot incidents, including rapid root-cause analysis and hotfix deployment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in conversational AI development, with at least 1 year focused on Dialogflow CX.
- Portfolio of deployed bots (GitHub, live demos) showcasing NLP/ML integration and DFCX expertise.
Core Technical Skills:
- Dialogflow CX Mastery: Experience with flow design, session parameters, and advanced fulfillment in DFCX.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python (Flask/FastAPI) for backend integration, and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend UI (React/Angular).
- NLP/ML Tools: Experience with spaCy, NLTK, Rasa for NLP pipelines; exposure to transformer models (e.g., Hugging Face LLM fine-tuning).
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience deploying bots on GCP (Cloud Functions, Dialogflow ES/CX); knowledge of CI/CD (GitLab) and containerization (Docker).
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Voiceflow or Amazon Lex for omnichannel bot deployment.
- Familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex for LLM-augmented conversational workflows.
- Experience with telephony integrations (e.g., Twilio, Genesys) for voice bots.
