What you'll do
- Monitor, coordinate, and approve all MEP construction works during the construction phase
- Lead design review, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, ELV and BMS
- Ensure MEP designs comply with statutory, contractual, and safety requirements
- Identify and manage design changes and variations related to MEP scope
- Implement and enforce project quality plan for MEP works
- Resolve technical queries and disputes related to MEP documentation and execution
- Conduct and monitor design safety risk assessments for MEP systems
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for seamless MEP integration
- Provide technical input to construction schedules, budgets, and procurement plans
- Support engineering, operations, and maintenance teams regarding MEP issues
- Communicate with clients, inspectors, and specialists to ensure clarity and compliance
- Hire, manage, and supervise MEP subcontractors and site personnel
- Delegate tasks and ensure timely completion of MEP milestones
- Monitor and control costs, resources, and quality of MEP installations
- Ensure adherence to best practices, building codes, and sustainability standards
Key requirements
- 8+ years' experience
- MEP Systems and Installation and Commissioning of MEP Systems
- Construction Management and Leadership and Team Management
- Design Coordination and Reading and Interpreting Contracts and Technical Documentation
- Local and International Codes and Regulations and Technical and Commercial Understanding of MEP Engineering
- Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD
- Fluency in English and Greek
- Budgeting and Cost Control
- Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Construction Managementpreferred
