What you'll do
- Oversee the entire construction process from project planning to completion
- Manage construction projects including building works and MEP works
- Schedule with the Main Contractor and monitor works to ensure timely, on-budget completion
- Assign tasks based on job requirements and qualifications
- Inspect projects to monitor compliance with building, safety codes, and regulations
- Check technical designs and drawings for correct implementation
- Prepare reports on construction project progress
- Meet regularly with Development team to discuss project status and resolve conflicts
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members
- Coordinate with permitting consultants and Local authorities
- Liaise with quantity surveyors regarding material ordering and pricing
- Multitask and perform additional duties as required
- Travel or relocate if necessary to meet business needs
- Attend meetings as requested by Construction Senior Managers
- Maintain professional service and good working relationships with colleagues
- Work effectively in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and deadlines
Key requirements
- 15+ years' experience
- Civil Engineering experience and MSc degree
- Project Management and Construction Oversight skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and MS Project
- Competence in AutoCAD
- Fluency in English Language
- Coordination with Stakeholders and Regulatory Compliance
- Report Preparation and Task Assignment skills
- Ability to multitask and Conflict Resolution
- Travel Flexibility and Team Collaboration

About the job

Scheduling with the Main Contractor and monitoring works so that project is completed on time and within budget; assigning tasks based on job requirements and qualifications
Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations; checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
Prepare reports pertaining to progress of construction project; meeting regularly with other departments of the Development team to discuss project status and resolve issues and conflicts
Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other construction team members; coordinating with the permitting consultant and Local authorities; liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
To be able in job multitask and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities; to be flexible in any travel or relocation to other regions if required, to meet business needs; to attend any meeting as and when requested by the Construction Senior Managers; to provide professional service and very good working relationships with colleagues at all time; able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
What will you bring?
MSc in Civil Engineering
15 - 20 years of working experience in a related position
Excellent command of MS Office (Excel, Word)
Strong command of MS Project
Strong command of AUTOCAD
Fluent in English
