What you'll do
- Partner with HR teams to align and maintain Master Data structures in Finance Systems
- Support Data Analytics teams with Compensation & Benefits data
- Prepare and post month-end actuals related to compensation and benefits
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper cost allocation across departments
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year results
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end close activities and reporting deadlines
- Partner with Compensation & Benefits team to gather and align forecasting assumptions
- Support annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting cycles for people costs
- Act as finance point of contact for Compensation & Benefits function
- Translate financial data into actionable insights
- Support initiatives with financial impact assessments and cost-benefit analysis
- Respond to ad hoc people cost queries
- Support audit requirements
- Drive process and reporting improvements
- Contribute to payroll-to-finance integration projects
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulations
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Month-end close processes and forecasting and budgeting cycles
- Excel and planning and consolidation tools (Tagetik, Anaplan)
- Compensation & Benefits data management and payroll and HR cost accounting
- ERP systems (Entersoft) and balance sheet reconciliations
- Variance analysis and financial data analysis
- Stakeholder management and audit support
- Process and reporting improvements
- Cost-benefit analysis and accounting policies and regulations compliance

About the job
Partner with the HR teams to align on and maintain Master Data structures in Finance Systems, ensure HR data is properly documented, and support Data Analytics teams with Compensation & Benefits data.
Prepare and post month-end actuals related to compensation and benefits, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper cost allocation across departments, entities, and cost centers.
Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year results, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close activities and reporting deadlines.
Partner with the Compensation & Benefits team to gather, challenge, and align forecasting assumptions, supporting annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting cycles for people costs.
Act as the trusted finance point of contact for the Compensation & Benefits function, translating financial data into actionable insights and supporting initiatives with financial impact assessments and cost-benefit analysis.
Respond to ad hoc people cost queries, support audit requirements, drive process and reporting improvements, contribute to payroll-to-finance integration projects, and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulations.
What will you bring?
2–4 years of experience in a Finance Business Partner, FP&A, or Management Accounting role, ideally with exposure to payroll and HR cost areas.
Proven experience with month-end close processes, forecasting and budgeting cycles; experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-site/multi-entity organizations is an advantage.
Strong Excel skills, with experience using planning and consolidation tools such as Tagetik, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as Entersoft for actuals posting, reconciliations, and finance reporting activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and drive continuous improvement.
