What you'll do
- Support, monitor, troubleshoot, and administer PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and CockroachDB production environments
- Design and manage database infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible following Infrastructure-as-Code principles
- Integrate database provisioning, schema migrations, and maintenance processes into automated CI/CD workflows
- Manage high-availability and disaster recovery solutions including replication, sharding, and distributed database architectures
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize queries, indexing strategies, and database scalability
- Implement automation for patching, upgrades, backups, and recovery processes
- Ensure strong data security practices including access control, encryption, and compliance requirements
- Develop scripts and automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency

- CI/CD Automation with Git/GitLab
- Scripting in Bash and Python for automation
- Database Performance Tuning, High Availability, and Security
- Linux/Unix environments
