What you'll do
- Establish, monitor, and enforce data governance policies and standards
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure data quality, compliance, and effective data management
- Integrate Looker’s semantic layer and report lineage with Collibra
- Automate metadata harvesting and maintain report catalogues, ownership, and lineage documentation
- Design and implement data quality controls, monitoring rules, and reconciliation dashboards
- Collect and validate business and technical metadata with data stewards and custodians
- Reverse engineer legacy systems to support metadata management
- Support anonymization/deanonymization, retention policies, PII governance, and secure data access
- Support Marketplace implementation and automate onboarding, ownership, archival, and expiration controls
- Develop automated processes for metadata synchronization, lineage updates, data quality monitoring, and governance workflows
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality
- GCP, SQL, data integration, and ETL/ELT
- Collibra, Looker, and data cataloguing
- GDPR, data privacy, access management, and retention policies
- Computer Science / Data Engineering / Information Management / Any Field
