What you'll do
- Supervise Machine Shop Team Leaders and machine operators to ensure components meet design specifications
- Organize and monitor the shift schedule and act as a technical advisor to Team Leaders
- Coordinate with supervisors of other departments to resolve production flow issues
- Evaluate performance of subordinate employees
- Conduct time studies and cost analysis to support process optimization
- Ensure all production documentation is accurate, up to date, and properly understood by the team
- Address equipment needs and follow up on maintenance or repair requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve in-process production issues
- Train new employees and assist in facility layout improvements and workflow optimization
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Mechanical Engineering
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Sheet metal processing equipment and solid-part processing equipment knowledge
- English language proficiency
- MS Office skills
