What you'll do
- Deploy and maintain Cloud IaaS/PaaS workloads in MS Azure such as VMs and SQL Databases
- Administer and troubleshoot Azure Application Gateways and Front Door configurations
- Implement GPO-based security hardening and baseline configurations on Azure VMs and workloads
- Configure and maintain Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure
- Provide technical expertise and ownership in diagnosing and resolving issues, including workarounds or escalation
- Engage in technical presales tasks for Azure services cost estimation and monitoring
- Liaise with vendors and other departments for problem resolution
- Maintain knowledge of IT engineering technologies and comply with regulatory requirements
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- MS Azure IaaS/PaaS deployment and maintenance
- Azure Application Gateways and Front Door configuration
- GPO-based security hardening and Microsoft Active Directory administration
- Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure configuration
- Technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Client-oriented communication
- Cross-functional teamwork
- Knowledge of internet protocols related to cloud infrastructure troubleshooting
- SQL Server and database instances PaaS/IaaS administration
- IIS administration
- Presales tasks for Azure services cost estimation
- English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800 & AZ-801)
- Computer Science
