What you'll do
- Implement and optimize Microsoft 365 E5 security and compliance solutions including Defender XDR and Microsoft Purview
- Develop and maintain security policies and controls across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Configure and manage Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, sensitivity labels, retention labels, and eDiscovery policies
- Implement Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps to monitor user activities and enforce session controls
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, and data governance teams to define classification taxonomies and map security controls
- Perform technical implementation of multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, PIM, and Just-in-Time access
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Microsoft 365 E5 Security & Compliance features including Microsoft Defender XDR suite and Microsoft Purview
- Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Conditional Access
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS)
- Data classification, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and insider risk management
- Regulatory compliance controls and security policy development
- Identity and access management (IAM), Zero Trust principles, role-based access control (RBAC), multifactor authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access
- Computer Science / Cybersecurity / Information Technology / Related Fieldpreferred
