What you'll do
- Implement Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS) to monitor user activities and enforce session controls
- Implement Conditional Access (CA) policies for secure, risk-based access controls
- Develop and maintain security policies and controls across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Configure and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection (MIP), sensitivity and retention labels, and eDiscovery policies
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, and data governance teams on classification taxonomies and security controls
- Implement and optimize Microsoft 365 E5 security and compliance solutions including Microsoft Defender XDR and Entra ID security features
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS) and Conditional Access (CA) policies
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 security policies and controls, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams
- Skills in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection (MIP), sensitivity labels, retention labels, and eDiscovery policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Purview capabilities and Microsoft 365 E5 security and compliance solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR suite and Entra ID security features
- Experience with data classification, insider risk management, and regulatory compliance controls
- Computer Science / Cybersecurity / Information Technologypreferred
