What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end translation projects from English into German using XTM TMS
- Translate, edit, and proofread Business and IT product content such as books, exams, and training materials
- Onboard and coordinate with external translators, Language Service Providers, and Subject Matter Experts
- Implement AI tools like machine translation to optimize translation workflows
- Maintain and update translation memories and prepare files for translation
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance
- Serve as main contact for feedback and issue resolution during projects
- Handle reporting, file management, and supplier communications
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and project managers to ensure smooth project execution
Key requirements
- Fluency in German and English with strong translation skills from English into German
- Experience with translation/localization project management and working in LSP environments
- Proficiency with CAT tools, Machine Translation, and XTM Translation Management System
- Skills in file handling including MS Office and InDesign within localization contexts
- Quality assurance, proofreading, and editing capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with external suppliers and internal teams
- Translation Studies / German Linguisticspreferred
