What you'll do
- Draft specifications and design firmware solutions based on project requirements
- Conduct or supervise feasibility studies
- Communicate concepts and guidelines to the development team
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and test engineers
- Contribute to schematic design and manage PCB layout
- Contribute to firmware architecture, development, engineering tests, and product validation
- Supervise firmware and hardware design, implementation, testing, and documentation
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Embedded firmware development in C and C++; microcontroller programming
- Embedded systems architecture; Cortex-M processors; real-time operating systems
- Electronics engineering; hardware requirements analysis; schematic design
- Linux system and kernel development; serial communication protocols
- End-to-end product development lifecycle; firmware and hardware testing
- Version control with Git; issue tracking with Jira; UML and modeling methods
- Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Applied Computer Science
