Responsibilities
Lead the strategic sourcing and procurement of both raw materials for production and third-party products for the company's retail network.
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers across local and international markets.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and supplier agreements to achieve optimal business outcomes.
Continuously identify new products, suppliers, producers, and innovative sourcing opportunities that enhance the company's product portfolio.
Monitor market trends, commodity price fluctuations, and supplier performance to support informed purchasing decisions.
Analyze and optimize Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) while identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Collaborate closely with Product Development, Production, and Retail teams to ensure the selection of the most suitable products and suppliers.
Support pricing strategy by contributing to margin analysis and commercial decision-making.
Develop demand forecasts and purchasing plans to ensure product availability while minimizing waste and inventory risks.
Ensure suppliers consistently meet the company's quality, reliability, and service standards.
