What you'll do
- Record and verify raw-material purchases in Pylon, including supplier invoices, lot numbers and expiry dates.
- Monitor purchasing, raw-material intake, production orders, store distribution, sales and waste.
- Prepare weekly costing for raw materials, merchandise and finished products in Pylon.
- Prepare costing inputs, including shrinkage, surplus entries, pending delivery notes and invoices, and stock counts.
- Reconcile retail takings with Pylon, and complete bank and POS reconciliations.
- Review purchasing, stock-movement and internal-transfer entries and help correct errors at source.
- Investigate production, stock and sales variances before weekly close and report corrective actions.
- Improve data-entry and control procedures as stores, products and sales channels expand.
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Production costing and costing cycle management
- Pylon costing module
- Inventory control, stock counts and purchase order and stock-movement control
- Raw-material entry and traceability, including recipe-based production orders
- Shrinkage and surplus entries, plus pending delivery notes and invoices
- Retail cash reconciliation, bank reconciliation, POS reconciliation, variance analysis and discrepancy investigation
- Accountingpreferred
