What you'll do
- Prepare consolidated financial statements accurately and on time
- Perform consolidation adjustments, including intercompany reconciliations and investment eliminations
- Apply foreign currency translation, equity accounting, and acquisition and disposal accounting
- Review and reconcile consolidated balances and disclosures
- Support external auditors during annual audits
- Validate reporting packages against group reporting requirements
- Support Group Finance and Management with ad hoc financial analysis
- Guide local finance teams on consolidation requirements and reporting standards
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Financial consolidation, accounting and finance, and financial statement preparation
- Intercompany reconciliations, investment eliminations, and foreign currency translation
- Equity accounting and acquisition and disposal accounting
- Balance and disclosure reconciliation and reporting package validation
- External audit support and ad hoc financial analysis
- German language, English language, and MS Excel
- Accounting and Finance / Taxation and Management Accounting
