What you'll do
- Develop backend application features from functional and architecture specifications
- Design and implement API-first backend services and REST APIs using agreed OpenAPI contracts
- Translate functional and architecture specifications into technical designs and implementation plans
- Contribute to backend architecture decisions and promote maintainable, scalable service design
- Produce quality code with unit tests, integration tests, contract validation and architecture checks
- Support CI/CD delivery, trunk-based development, feature branches and reliable release practices
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, UX, QA, DevOps and frontend teams
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Java & Spring Boot
- REST API development & OpenAPI
- MongoDB
- Spring Security
- JUnit 5, Mockito / Spring MockBean, Integration testing & Testcontainers
- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git & Maven
