employee benefits underwriter

Implement and support the Employee Benefits Department initiatives, as well as, dealing with the respective business targets in order to achieve qualitative & quantitative results. 

Your day-to-day:

• Support Employee Benefits Portfolio retention and profitable growth, through efficient technical support (proposal issue, policy and endorsements, underwriting studies, client communication materials)

• Effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders/departments and resolve business issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics/statistics/insurance/finance/business is required

• Professional training in technical positions

• At least 2 years of working experience in an insurance company, preferably in a relevant technical position

• Financial, Actuarial knowledge background

• Ease with computations

• Fluent English

• Advanced user of MS Office

• Advanced knowledge of data analytics tools will be considered an asset
