What you'll do
- Oversee erection of fuel storage or surge tanks according to design and safety codes
- Supervise steelwork assembly, welding, and NDT inspections

- Ensure compliance with API 650 and airport fuel tank standards
- Conduct fit-up inspections and welding documentation review
- Oversee hydrotest preparation and execution
- Report tank progress and readiness for coating or commissioning
- Maintain a daily log of tank erection activities and manpower
- Report on progress, defects, and corrective actions to the Site Engineer
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Knowledge of API 650 standards and fuel tank design requirements
- Experience in fuel tank erection supervision including steel structure assembly and welding techniques
- Proficiency in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and documentation
- Skills in crane and lifting coordination for large tank erection
- Ability to conduct fit-up inspections and welding documentation review
- Fluency in Greek and English languages
- Mechanical Engineering

Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire a Tank Erection Engineer, to join our team at OFC TECHNICAL S.A, a subsidiary of OFC, to be responsible for supervising all tank erection activities of the site to ensure compliance with design and quality requirements.
The job is based at Kastelli in Crete.
During your day you will:

What you need to stand out:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Technological Educational Institute)
At least 3 years of experience in overseeing fuel storage and surge tank erection
Knowledge of API 650 standards and fuel tank design requirements
Knowledge of steel structure assembly and welding techniques
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and documentation
Crane and lifting coordination for large tank erection
Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
