  • Experience in power utility infrastructure project execution or operations and maintenance

Your contribution to the energy transition

As our O&M Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance activities of the 204 MWp Kozani PV plant near Livera, including portions of the MV/HV substation. Reporting to the O&M Site Manager, you will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of the plant while supporting the continued growth of JUWI's renewable energy portfolio in Western Macedonia.

 

You can look forward to the following tasks:

  • Ensure all maintenance and operations initiatives are carried out in conjunction with the company’s goals and objectives

  • Perform fault finding and diagnostics on all plant equipment

  • Closely cooperate with Control Room personnel, in monitoring the plant, attending faults and providing feedback

  • Conduct MV switching activities and other MV related tasks

  • Management of spare parts inventory on site

  • Contribute to the drafting of O&M reports (regular and ad-hoc ones)

  • Perform all scheduled (preventive) maintenance activities, inspections and checks, according to the approved plans, schedules and procedures

  • Organize and supervise panel washing and vegetation cutting activities

  • Supervise various subcontractors as well as a team of general workers

  • Contribute to the plant’s HSE management, taking responsibility for certain areas/ activities

  • Perform stand-by during weekends and public holidays (based on a roster)

  • Perform maintenance activities in other nearby PV plants, if needed

Your energy is required

You impress us with these qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory

  • Licence of A class will be advantageous or intention to qualify in the near future

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical engineering (heavy current)

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in power utility infrastructure project execution and/or operations and maintenance

  • Good technical understanding of PV plants and Substations

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. 

  • Demonstrable experience of managing Subcontractors, technical personnel, Clients and Utilities to stringent time and quality metrics

  • Conversant with construction, environmental and safety requirements and legislation

  • Conversant with the General Machinery Regulations

  • Good command of English Speaking and writing. 

  • Office package and advanced MS Excel knowledge is a must
